Davaoeña wins World Peacemaking Award
DAVAO CITY – A Davaoeña bagged the World Peacemaking Award, besting eight other foreign nominees in the first World Vision International Peace Prize Award held Monday at the Grand Men Seng Hotel, here.
Mary Ann Arnado, secretary-general of the Mindanao Peoples’ Caucus (MPC), a non-governmental organization geared towards advocating peace and development in Mindanao, received one of two awards given by the World Vision International, a Christian, community-based, and child-focused organization.
